D3O Impact Protection provides safety and security to motorcyclists, mountain bikers, and snowboarders. The lightweight and unique polymer formula allows for excellent protection against falls, strikes, and crashes without added weight or bulk on the wearer.

D3O products can be found in some of the leading names in the mountain biking and motorcycling B2C space, including Harley Davidson, FOX, Troy Lee, Furygan, Richa, and Triumph.

My role in supporting the brand was to generate SEO content to sit on the website that would help reaffirm the position of D3O as the leading impact protection solution. The content needed to serve the purpose of being insightful and educational to readers, without being overly salesy.

Working with the SEO and Digital team, we looked at key search terms and ranking keywords that D3O could compete for. Content topics were then devised using these keywords for inspiration and also working with the Brand Manager to promote hero products in the range.

Category pages were also written to help structure the site map more coherently with the new content uploads. Metadata was written for all pages as well, and standardised in line with the brand guidelines and tone of voice.

The SEO content performed well on site, jumping up the rankings quickly, especially for targeted long-tail keywords, and many articles ranked page 1 of Google for keywords results.
